The ground floor has a well-equipped kitchen including a small breakfast table with four chairs at one end. Appliances include a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and a free-standing fridge-freezer. There’s also a good selection of cook books if you need inspiration, and useful items for days out such as flasks and picnic hampers. The separate sitting-dining room is just across the hall on the ground floor, with the original 'shop window' onto the road outside - the lower windows are frosted for privacy, but you can still discreetly watch the world go by out of the upper windows. The dining table comfortably seats eight, and at the opposite end of the room are two, four seater sofas and two of armchairs, so there's plenty of room for everyone to relax together at the end of the day. There’s a good stock of books and board games, a smart TV with Freeview and a PlayStation 4 with a selection of games to suit all. There is also a cloakroom on the ground floor, comprising toilet and hand basin. The bedrooms are all upstairs, two on the first floor and two on the second floor. All four bedrooms are roomy and benefit from an en-suite, each comprising slipper bath and a separate walk in shower, toilet and hand basin. Within each room is a wardrobe and dressing table, a television and hairdryer facilities. Each room is individually decorated with a mural, pictures from the National or Portrait galleries. All the rooms have comfy beds, with white ‘high quality’ linen. Two of the bedrooms have king-size beds (5') the other two are super king-size (6') which can be made up as twin beds upon request. There is no garden or private outside space for this property, but the beach, the harbourside and marina in Watchet is an easy stroll from the door - a lovely spot to soak up the atmosphere of Watchet.

We loved our stay! The rooms were all incredibly comfortable and immaculate. Everything about the place is really well thought out and of the highest quality. Can't recommend the place highly enough, thank you. Anyone visiting who likes a cider must visit Pebbles, just around the corner. Great....

We (family of 6) had a wonderful stay at this property in Watchet. Everything and everywhere was exceptionally clean and comfortable and we would not hesitate to stay again. Great location and easy parking are also a plus!
Had a lovely stay in Watchet for Christmas. Was so lovely to get there and for it to have been decorated for us! Perfect for a big family getaway, lots of shops and lively pubs in easy walking distance.

I would thoroughly recommend a stay in this beautiful property, it really was gorgeous.Beautiful bedrooms, comfy lounge, and perfectly equipped kitchen. Located centrally for all amenities, we wanted for nothing.
Really enjoyed our stay at 48 Swain Street. One thing though, the pub opposite was noisy at closing time which woke up the kids. Otherwise five stars all the way!
Beautifully furnished and well equipped, Jo was helpful and accommodating when we asked too arrive earlier than planned to meet our Tesco delivery.
Car park is really close so only park on street if you have to.

Big house over 3 floors with Hot water and heating overide/boost on the 2nd floor, this isn’t ideal if you have mobility issues. Nice features, nice fixtures, nice showers but had issues with the hot water. Noisy road and very noisy pub over road with loud music till 12am on Saturday night. Kitc....
